XAOP Sharepoint Features

At XAOP we have been working with Ruby for quite some time now. The efficiency we gained by using dynamic languages has been obvious from the start. Recently providers of static programming languages have been offering dynamic features as well. Off course we could not stay behind on this. So that is why, at the beginning of 2009, we started tryouts of IronRuby, Microsofts’ implementation of Ruby on top of the .Net stack. With IronRuby It is possible to leverage the vast possibilities provided by the .Net Framework.

To make the challenge even bigger for us, we tried to use IronRuby to produce dynamic code for SharePoint Server. You will find an overview of this in the following lab.
